Louise Shields is from County Down Northern Ireland where she has been lecturing for the Southern Regional College for the past 20 years. Louise lecturers in Arts and Crafts and specialises in historical samplers, lecturing throughout her career to wide range of groups and organisations from Community Groups to Parent Teacher Associations. She was also Arts Advisor for the Girl Guide Association in the Down district for 5 years and has been judge for the sewing and crafts in the City of Newry and District Agricultural Show. Louise has produced many of her crafts for sale in local gift shops, the Train Tourist Centre, Armagh and National Trust Arts and Crafts Fairs, She has attended and taught a wide range of workshops and training classes for teachers, designed to encourage and develop new and innovative skills while at the same time keeping up to date with current ideas and trends. Louise has been cruising since the age of 14 and now enjoys combining work and pleasure on board cruise ships.

I am always adding to and updating my kits to keep them current and on trend, teaching new skills to beginners and advanced crafters to produce a useful attractive item in one hour in a friendly fun invironment.
